The GIIS KL Campus Field came alive with enthusiasm and vibrant performances as the Language Department organized the Final Round of the Language Role Play Competition for primary students from Standard 3 to Standard 5. Designed to foster strong communication skills, confidence, and language proficiency, the event provided a dynamic platform for young learners to showcase their talents before an audience of proud parents and teachers.
The journey to the final round began with video submissions during the preliminary stage, from which top performers were shortlisted. On the day of the finals, these talented individual finalists took to the stage to portray diverse characters and themes across Hindi, Tamil, French, and Bahasa Malaysia. The performances highlighted remarkable stage presence, rich expression, and a deep appreciation for diverse languages and cultures, guided and supported by Language Department teachers Ms. Dimple, Ms. Sapna Puri, Ms. Rashi, Ms. Amutha, Mr. Omar, and Ms. Siti.
Beyond language acquisition, the competition beautifully aligned with the school’s 9Gems framework and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The event nurtured Visual and Performing Arts, Personality Development, Innovation and Creativity, Universal Values and Ethics, Community and Care, and Skill Development. Furthermore, by fostering self-expression, holistic growth, and quality learning environments, the initiative reflected the core values of SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). The engaging performances left a lasting impression on everyone present, celebrating the impressive linguistic capabilities and creative spirit of the young participants.
